The Volkswagen Tayron is Volkswagen's 7-seat answer in the premium SUV segment, filling the gap between the 5-seat Tiguan and the flagship Touareg.
Based on the same architecture as the Skoda Kodiaq, the Tayron offers VW's engineering quality and TSI turbocharged performance with the additional capacity of a third row.
For premium buyers who find the Tiguan too small but want to stay with Volkswagen's engineering ethos, the Tayron is the natural progression.
Launched around March-April 2026 as Volkswagen's new flagship 7-seater, replacing the discontinued Tiguan Allspace. Sold as a single, fully-loaded R-Line variant, locally assembled from CKD (Completely Knocked Down) kits.
