MG Hector Plus Overview

Where the 5-seat MG Hector is a straightforward large SUV, the Hector Plus is a genuinely distinct model built around a real third row — not just a badge variant. It shares its 1.5-litre turbo-petrol engine (143hp, 250Nm) and 6-speed manual or CVT gearbox with the standard Hector, but rides on a stretched wheelbase.

The Plus gets its own dual-tone Urban Tan interior scheme (versus the Ice Grey of the regular Hector) and is offered in both a 7-seat bench layout and a 6-seat captain's-chair configuration, with a huge panoramic sunroof carried over from the facelifted Hector.

As of this update, only the Sharp Pro trim onward is confirmed for the 7-seat layout, with pricing for lower trims and the 6-seat configuration to follow.
