The Maruti Suzuki Eeco is one of the most practical vehicles ever sold in India — a bare-bones van that prioritises maximum passenger and cargo capacity at the absolute minimum price. Note: the traditional bench-style 7-seater has been discontinued from the standard retail lineup — retail buyers now choose between a 5-seater (with individual seats) and a 6-seater (with captain chairs in the middle row). A 7-seat "Tour" version still exists but is sold as a commercial/fleet vehicle, not through standard retail channels.

A 2025 update brought a genuinely significant safety upgrade: airbag count jumped from 2 to 6 as standard (front, side and curtain) across all passenger variants.
